BAWBAGS Olympic Snowboard Halfpipe Party

Bawbags, we hereby cordially invite you to join us in celebrating and supporting our own Ben Kilner in his quest for Winter Olympic glory in Vancouver next week. On the evening of Weds 17th Feb 2010 we shall be holding a little party while watching the first qualifying runs here in sunny Edinburgh.

Please feel free to come along and join us at Hamiltons Bar & Kitchen in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. Snow wear is optional but recommended. We’ll be giving prizes for the daftest costumes and generally consuming as much Guinness as we can.

The show starts at 9pm. See you there!!

Bawbags’ own Ben Kilner Olympic glory hunt!

A massive well done to Bawbags Team member Ben Kilner for making it to the Winter Olympics!! Just getting there itself was a massive achievement and we’re proud of him whatever happens. But we spoke to Ben earlier this week and he’s feeling really relaxed and super confident, so fingers crossed he might make a big noise in Vancouver!

Bawbags Ski Team member Joe Tyler has just dropped us a line to let us know about his sick new venture based in Mayrhoffen.

The brand new All Mountain Academy offers you a chance to be coached by Joe and other British Champions in all aspects of Skiing. Turning their back on the traditional “textbook” approach the Academy concentrates on Park and Powder as well as Piste. See link above for more info.

Phew!

We at Bawbags decided the stench fae oor trainers was so unbearable we’d better evacuate the office, go to the pub and leave all the windaes open for a few days. Bawbags Towers wisnae a safe place to be!

The good folk at Testicular Cancer Charity, Everyman, sent us a letter in recogntition of the £1,000.00 donation we made to them on behalf of YOU, the Bawbags customers. And we’re not finished yet!

One man dies every hour in the UK from Prostate Cancer and incidences of Testicular Cancer have doubled in the last 25 years!

With so much money in cancer research being focused on other areas, such as breast, Everyman’s cause is vital. Over 95% of your donation will go straight to their research labs.

Well done to Everyman.
