Did you know that most women don't know their actual underwear size? Many women will settle for being uncomfortable in their underwear and keep buying the wrong size, and here at Bawbags, we want to make sure that doesn't happen to you.

We've collected a list of some of our best tips and tricks for using our sizing guide to find your true underwear size and embrace comfort in all of its glory!

How To Measure Your Waist Size

Measuring your waist is the easy part – all you have to do is take a tape measure (we recommend using a soft one so there are no kinks) and wrap it around your waist.

Where the end of the tape measure meets the start will tell you the size of your waist in centimetres and inches.

Once you have a measurement, take a look at our sizing information below to identify what size of women's underwear you should be wearing:

Size 8

25 Inches

65cm

Size 10

27 Inches

69cm

Size 12

29 Inches

74cm

Size 14

31 Inches

79cm

Size 16

33 Inches

84cm

Size 18

35 Inches

89cm

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend rounding up rather than down. It’s always better to have a little extra space in your underwear as opposed to too little.

Take a look at our full range of women’s underwear to find the perfect boxers or boy-cut shorts for you! We offer a range of high-quality, stylish undergarments that guarantee you feel as good as you look in them.

How To Measure Your Bust Size

Measuring your waist is pretty self-explanatory, but measuring your bust can be a little more difficult. Before you begin, you’ll want to ensure you’re either not wearing a bra or are wearing a non-padded, tight-fitting bra, so you’re not measuring any extra padding or fabric.

Once you’re ready, take your soft tape measure and follow these steps:

  • Place the measuring tape just underneath the band of your bra.
  • Pull the tape measure tight, but if it’s uncomfortable, let it lose by an inch or two – the measurement you get is the bra size you’ll be buying, so if you prefer it looser, that’s your choice.
  • The number you land on is your ‘band size’ and is the measurement you’ll use to pick a bra or bralette.
  • If you land on an odd number, you can round up or down based on your preferred fit.

Once you have a number, you can consult our sizing guide to figure out what size you need:
